Privacy & Cookies

MeMap doesn't collect personal information: there is no sign-up, and your answers never leave your browser. Ads and sharing do involve outside services, explained below.
1. Your answers and results
Scoring happens entirely in your browser. Your answers are not sent to us or anyone else.
A result link only contains your type and four scores (e.g. INTJ-30-70-80-60) — never your name or answers.
2. What we keep in your browser
For convenience we store the following only in your browser's storage (localStorage/sessionStorage) on your device: your language, text size, last result, a friend's result (for compatibility), and whether you unlocked the in-depth report.
This never leaves your device, and clearing site data in your browser deletes it.
3. Ads and cookies
MeMap is funded by ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website or other websites.
Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet. See the link below for how Google uses this information.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of other vendors' personalised ads at aboutads.info.
Visitors from the EEA, the UK and Switzerland are asked for consent before advertising cookies are used.
4. Ad for the in-depth report
The in-depth report opens after one short ad. We only learn whether the ad finished; nothing else is collected. If no ad is available, the report opens anyway.
In the app, ads are served by Google AdMob.
5. Sharing
Only when you share the certificate via KakaoTalk is the image uploaded to Kakao's servers, where it is kept for up to 100 days under Kakao's policy. If you wrote a name on the certificate, it is part of that image.
Other options (save image, your device's share sheet, copy link) don't upload anything.
6. Hosting
The site is delivered through Cloudflare, which may process technical data such as IP addresses for security and delivery.
7. Notes
MeMap is independent and not affiliated with The Myers-Briggs Company or 16Personalities. Results are for fun and self-reflection.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and its date.
